Stellar Miracle - 6 Pack Bundle

Some sets are remembered for a mechanic. Stellar Miracle is remembered for a Pokémon. Terapagos ex arrived here as the face of the Stellar Tera type, fresh off The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 2, and the set was built around giving collectors as many ways to chase it as possible.

Four ways, specifically. Terapagos ex shows up as a Double Rare in the main numbering, then again as an SR, again as a Special Art Rare, and once more in gold at the very top of the set.

The rest of the secret block earns its keep. Six SARs: Hydrapple ex, Galvantula ex and Dachsbun ex on the Pokémon side, Terapagos ex making its third appearance, and then Briar and Lacey, whose Supporter SARs did a great deal of the heavy lifting for this set's reputation. Twelve SRs sit below them, and three golds, Terapagos ex, Bravery Charm and Area Zero Underdepths, cap the numbering at 135.

Then there are the Art Rares, which are the ones people quietly go back for. Twelve cards, and almost none of them are the obvious picks: Ledian, Lileep, Joltik, Milcery, Meditite, Gulpin, Zeraora. Small Pokémon, given room and an illustrator who clearly enjoyed the assignment. Sets get judged on their SARs and collected on their ARs, and this run is a good example of why.
