30th Celebration Charizard Figure Gift Box - Simplified Chinese

Released alongside the main 30th Celebration expansion, this is the Charizard entry in the anniversary's boxed product line-up. Unlike the accessory-led sets in the range, it is built around a single card and the two objects made from it.

That card matters more here than the usual anniversary reprint. Charizard has been part of the Pokémon Trading Card Game since the beginning and appears among the 30 cards reissued under the 30th Celebration special treatment, but for the Simplified Chinese market this is its first appearance, the original card has never been printed in Simplified Chinese before, and the anniversary set is where it finally lands.

The box takes that artwork and scales it in both directions. The jumbo card runs roughly 13.3cm by 18.7cm against a standard card's 6.3cm by 8.8cm, with finish detail that reads more clearly at that size. The figure sculpts the same illustration into three dimensions, holding Charizard in the wings-spread, fire-breathing pose from the card. The two are designed to sit together as a display pair rather than as separate items.

Fifteen booster packs finish this collection box, every card in a 30th Celebration pack is foil, and every pack carries a guaranteed one of the 30 Pikachu cards, each by a different illustrator.
