30th Celebration Futuristic Box - Simplified Chinese

Released alongside the main 30th Celebration expansion, the Futuristic Box is the anniversary range's premium accessory set. It sits apart from the booster and gift box products in the line-up: there are no packs inside, and nothing is randomised. Every copy contains the same two cards and the same equipment.

The two Pikachu ex cards are the reason most collectors will want it. Futuristic Rare is the new rarity introduced with 30th Celebration, appearing inside the set on Mew ex and Mewtwo ex, and these two Pikachu foil promo applications of that same treatment. Both are illustrated by graphic artist Yoshirotten, whose work defines the FUR look across the anniversary, and the box contains one of each of the two Pikachu designs. Since the box holds no packs, it is the only route to them.

The accessories run the same design language. Yoshirotten’s artwork carries across the whole kit rather than being confined to the cards, which is what separates this from a standard accessory bundle. The playmat is rubber and comes with its own storage box, the sleeves run to 64 in a single art set, and the damage counter dice come with a dedicated case alongside separate poison and burn condition markers. Two Pokémon coins and a deck box complete it, and a card display frame is included for the Pikachu ex pair.

As a package it works two ways: as a sealed collector's item built around two exclusive promos, or as a matching set of tournament-ready accessories.
