Scarlet & Violet Continues
China has been releasing compilation-style Pokémon TCG sets since 2022, and Brilliant Illusions continues this trend by pulling cards from Twilight Masquerade, Shrouded Fable, and Surging Sparks.
Chase Cards
Brilliant Illusions will be China’s eighth Scarlet & Violet era set, and Trainer Carmine will receive a brand-new Special Illustration Rare exclusive to this, making it even more attractive to collectors. The special illustration Milotic ex from Surging Sparks, also makes an appearance.

Jumbo or Slim?
Brilliant Illusions will feature both jumbo booster boxes and the more compact slim version. Jumbo boxes will contain 6 packs with 20 cards per pack, and Slim boxes will contain 15 packs with 5 cards per pack.
Both give the opportunity to pull those rare cards, the Jumbo box with its higher volume of cards per pack, is often considered better for collectors chasing rare hits, but the Slim booster box offers more, smaller, and quicker, cheaper packs.
